Fruting Body fanlike, formed in confluent clusters 80-120 mm broad; margin hairy, pale grayish brown to brown, centrally lumpy and velvety, dark brown. Texture tough, leathery. Lower spore-bearing surface smooth to wrinkled, grayish brown on the margin, purplish brown to cinnamon brown elsewhere. Stem short, lateral to central, velvety, dark brown. Spore Deposit purplish brown. Edibility: unknown, but too tough to eat.
