Fruiting Bodies perennial, imbricate, shelflike, 300-500 x 50-100 mm; Cap pubescent to tomentose, nodulose, rusty brown with yellowish tan margin, becoming dull brown overall; flesh tough and corky, rusty brown. Pores round to slightly angular, 5-7 per mm, yellow to yellowish brown; tubes in 1-12 layers, 2-5 mm long. Stem absent. Spore Deposit yellowish brown. Edibility; edible but too tough to eat.
