Cap 20-40 mm broad, at first conical to bell-shaped but soon plane, radially pleated, surface covered with yellow powder when young, glabrous in age, pale lemon yellow overall when young, becoming white with a yellow center in age; flesh very thin, delicate, translucent. Gillss free, close, narrow, white. Stem 50-100 mm, cylindrical with an enlarged base, fragile, powdery, pale yellow, with a membranous annulus near the apex that becomes free and movable in age. Spore Deposit white. Edibility: unknown.
