Cap 15-30 mm broad, convex to obtusely conical, expanding to plano-umbonate, wrinkled, short-striate, dry, hygrophanous, brown with a yellowish brown margin, fading to ochraceous buff with a darker center with moisture loss. Gills narrowly adnate, close, broad, brown to rusty brown. Stem 50-60 x 3-4 mm, cylindrical or slightly enlarged at the base, glabrous, ochraceous to brown, with a pale yellowish white, cufflike annulus in the center. Spore Deposit rusty brown. Edibility: unknown.
