Description:
Evergreen shrub, 1 m tall. Leaves simple, opposite, obovate to elliptic, entire, curled inward, glabrous, waxy, venation reticulate, midrib faint, veins secondary veins inconspicuous, thin to succulent, thin leaves smooth, succulent leaves textured, light greem, stipules absent. Stems waxy, fissured, flaky, scaly, brown to brownish white. Flowers bisexual, incomplete, cymose, actinomorphic, 1 series; stamens 4 and adnate to tepals, carpels 1, stigmas 4, perigynous, ovary superior, stigma slightly elevated above anthers; tepals 4-merous and outside same color as leaves, inside yellowish orange, bracts absent.
