Small evergreen shrub, height 43cm. Reproduction condition is flowering and fruiting. Flowers bisexual, complete, umbellate; calyx is inconspicuous, white with grey dots; corolla white with grey specks and slightly translucent, sympetalous; perigynous, ovary superior, stigma elevated above stamens which form a yellow cone that encloses majority of the style; fragrant. Fruit is drupe; globose, glossy; immature drupe is green, mature is red. Leaves are simple, entire, crenate, alternate, elliptic to oblanceolate; adaxial of leaf is dark green with pale green midrib, abaxial side of leaf is light green with less prominent midrib, glabrous, glossy; venation is reticulate and more apparent on adaxial side. Lenticels on stems.
