Gilma De Leon
Scientist in the making. Interests include studies in animal behavior, ichthyology, marine biology, and aquatic ecosystems. I have acquired some experience in lichenology, ornithology, and population & community ecology through coursework at ASU. I’m a huge fan of sharks and rays, along with their work in cinema (Jaws, Finding Nemo). Outside of biology, I enjoy studying anthropology, philosophy, and religions. In my free time, I like skateboarding, reading Isabel Allende novels, and cooking.
