Field Guide to Grasshoppers, Katydids, and Crickets of the United States
A grayish-brown species with black bands on the forewings. Wings are long, extending well beyond the tip of the abdomen. Hind wings are yellow basally and with a transverse black band. Hind tibiae are red or orange. Males are 19-27 mm long, females 25-37 mm.
