Colección Entomológica del Instituto de Investigaciones Botánicas y Zoológicas / Ants (UASD-IIBZ-ENT-Ants)

The Entomological Collection IIBZ (Colección Entomológica IIBZ) is a collection started in 1959 by Prof. Eugenio de Jesús Marcano, who collected around 30,000 insect specimens. Currently, the collection has grown with the contributions of other entomologists from personal collections and research projects. The collection is part of the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo. This dataset contains the records of the ants (Formicidae) housed in the collection.
